When does External Organizational Consulting Create Value: Orga Consult Podcast [German]

Posted on July 25, 2026August 6, 2026 by Aye Stephen, MBA

In this episode of the ORGA Consult Podcast, Christian Rieckmann and I explore one of the most underrated questions in business leadership: when does external organizational consulting actually create value – and when doesn’t it?

We discuss how the needs of organizations differ fundamentally depending on their stage: the early-stage startup trying to establish structure without killing agility, the scale-up navigating the chaos of rapid growth, and the PE-backed company under pressure to professionalize fast. The conversation covers what management should realistically expect from organizational consulting engagements, what the most common misconceptions are, and how to know whether your organization is actually ready to benefit from outside expertise.

This episode is in German.
